Picked up a brewski from what I hear is a local favorite. They made it all the way out to Colorado and aren’t called Sam Adams so it must be true.
Slightly hazy golden color, Union maintains a small head. Mostly aromas of pine with a little bit of citrus. The taste is similar, mostly bitter but with a hint of juicy melon. Very bubbly mouth feel, certainly not the crispness I’d expect from a lager, but it is an IPL. Overall, solid, but not too memorable.
2.5 out of 4 stars. Would drink on a patio.
