Samuel Adams: Boston Lager

If you’re from New England, this beer will always have a soft spot in your heart. This beer was the one that pulled America out of it’s Budweiser drinking hell. Despite the fact that it’s not much different.

Boston Lager pours a little darker than most lagers. Kind of a sunrise golden. Very little head. The taste has a surprising amount of hop in it (for a lager). It’s nice, giving the beer a little more flavor and taste. It’s surprisingly similar to Pilsner Urquell. That kind of corn-y taste. It’s best aspect is the refreshing coldness of it. Crisp, clean, goes down easy. God, I love it. And I love Boston. So biased over here.

3 out of 4 stars. Would get drunk at a family party with this.
